A song I grew up singing with my family is "Fanga". I learned the song as a child under the tutelage of the LaRocque Bey School of Dance and returned as an adult to my early dance/drumming roots

I, in turn, taught it to my children and we would drum, dance, and sing it every dawning as a part of our dawning communion.

I have taught this beautiful song of welcoming to my comrades in ANU Nation and we sing it around the campfires at retreats.

There was a time when we were a village and we loved to share our vigor through the power of song and dance. There will be a time, again, when we are a village and will share the vigor of our victory and glory through song and dance.
